lyrics

You want to know what the truth is
I’m terrified to let you in
Maybe I don’t want to bruise my pride
I beat myself up too much inside

If there’s a light at the end we’ll make it
I’m scared as hell but I’m gonna say it
I’m jumping in with you

Don’t want to tell the truth
And let you see
Will the darkness keep you from loving me

Down
Don’t want to let you down
Down
Don’t want to let you down

I’ve got new fears playing in my head
Into the dark now all I see is red
I’ve given you so many reasons to walk away
Ay
Here we are up in your room
Telling each other how much it means to say
Just what we’re feeling

Don’t want to tell the truth
And let you see
How much you don’t need me

Down
Don’t want to let you down
Down
Don’t want to let you down

You could be the reason I cave
You could be the reason I stay
